Position Description
Automotive Spray Coat Painter
Global Power Components
West Allis, WI
We are a growing company located in West Allis in need of a full time experienced spray coat painter.
We manufacture large diesel fuel tanks and aluminum enclosures.
Job Requirements:
Must have at least five years experience in automotive painting. We use a 2 part polyurethane spray gun method.
Due to increased volume, applicant must be proficient enough to start immediately with minimal assistance.
Applicant must measure, compare, and perform shop calculations to meet customers specifications.
Applicant must pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed.
Flexible in day to day activities. Willing to stay late on occasion to complete a rush job.
High school education or GED is a must.
Read and speak English fluently.
Our company is very strict on tardiness and attendance issues.
Testing:
Applicant must complete an aptitude test, spray paint test and pre-employment physical.
Compensation:
Starting wage is commensurate with experience.
