Job Summary

Spectrum Brands is looking for an experienced sales leader to manage our eCommerce accounts such as Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Target Plus Marketplace, Wayfair, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com and others. The eCommerce team leader will have extensive marketplace experience, proven analytical capabilities, strategic execution, and strong vendor negotiations to lead the eCommerce business for North America across our 1P and 3P accounts. They will be the business owner with responsibility for achieving the annual sales plan, own the vendor relationship and negotiations and drive the sales funnel from driving traffic through conversion.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sales: Responsible for achieving the annual sales plan by brand and location.
  • Account Management: Own the vendor relationship across multiple Amazon vendor managers, negotiate annual terms and develop strategies to partake in available Amazon programs.
  • Marketplace Ownership: Develop the strategy for marketplace sales, including managing the day-to-day elements of the Walmart marketplace, Target Plus marketplace, Wayfair, Homedepot.com, Lowes.com and others.
  • Vendor Relationships: Own the vendor relationships across all eCommerce accounts, developing strong working relationships and building joint business plans to grow sales and profitability.
  • Promotions: Develop/manage promotional plan, coordinating with finance, trade marketing to align with brand strategies and advertising plans as appropriate. Recommend opportunities for increased penetration, based on knowledge of customers and territory.
  • Profitability: Effectively manage Spectrum's and eCommerce retail partners profitability, working through pricing challenges.
  • Conversion: Provide direction to the content team to drive conversion through optimization of content and keywords through continual A/B testing.
  • Catalog Data: Responsible for the overall data quality and management of product data in eCommerce portals and accounts.
  • Inventory & Forecasting: Partner with sales forecasting and inventory teams on forecasting sales and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Ownership of the dashboard reporting and analysis for the Amazon business, understanding how key inputs are impacting overall performance.
  • Collaboration: Engage cross functional departments, sharing Amazon results and educating the organization on the Amazon channel. Develop and share best practices with Amazon teams in other countries around the globe.
Education and Experience Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales or related field required.
Required Skills
  • 7+ year of experience managing a large 1P Amazon business, generating over $100M a year in sales.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing multiple marketplaces.
  • Financially astute with superior analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with leveraging complex data.
  • Track record of delivering results and executing with excellence for a large volume, high profile business.
  • Software minded and experience leveraging technology to drive solutions. Experience with CIQ is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data analytics, BI tools, and data science methods in solving complex problems.
  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and proven ability to lead large and complex projects with cross functions and teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment

Location: This is a remote position with 10% - 20% travel required.
