Administrative Assistant/Accounts Payable Specialist

The Administrative Assistant & Accounts Payable Specialist has one of the most important jobs in supporting the project accounting team. Gorman & Company is looking for a full-time or par-time Administrative Assistant & Accounts Payable specialist who is committed to providing first class administrative support as part of a collaborative team.

As a Administrative Assistant & Accounts Payable Specialist, you will manage:
  • Receiving, routing, and entering invoices.
  • Establishing and maintaining vendor records
  • Assisting with bank statement reconciliations and reconciling general ledgers.
  • Obtaining signatures for forms and records.
  • Verifying transactions.

Administrative Assistant/ Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
  • Experience in construction accounting is a plus!
  • General understanding of accounting practices and principles.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Team Spirit- Cooperative, honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
