As the company continues to grow we are seeking a Project Manager- Capital Equipment. The Project Manager is responsible for successfully leading a cross functional team in the achievement of project objectives through management of planning, scheduling and manufacturing activities. The Project Manager develops project scope and objectives. Establishes and tracks critical milestones, timelines and contingency plans. Follows up throughout project process to ensure project goals are achieved and on plan. Gathers data to formulate project plan and objectives. Identifies and implements potential cost savings and project execution improvements. Participates in quality system reviews and development of systems to improve compliance. Manages project team activities during project implementation. Directs communication of project status, milestones, timelines, and budget to management.

The ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership in meeting all productivity goals and objectives and in building and developing a high performing and functioning team, driven by establishing clear expectations of performance metrics and routinely reviewing with staff. Enforces all Company and department policies and procedures and all safety regulations.
Coordinates design reviews and negotiates variances with vendor.
Manages the change control process for projects.
Develops, maintains and communicates project plans and objectives to team. Provides project updates to management timely. Participates and/or leads special projects as needed.
Manages and maintains project budget; identifies and implements cost saving improvements. Leads and organizes a high performance and continuous improvement culture.
Required BS in Engineering or related field; MS/PE preferred.
Experience in GMP compliance and delivering requirements, 7 or more years engineering experience and/or leading technical projects in manufacturing.
Practical knowledge of experience Ortho in Clinical high speed Diagnostics, manufacturing its products, production equipment lines, and
maintenance systems strongly preferred.
Required Travel: 30% travel overall (including international) but could require 60-70% travel for short durations during commissioning of new equipment at suppliers.
